Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 until 2022. A part of the Democratic Party, she previously worked in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013-2015) and as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a CNN political commentator from 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later appointed as deputy press secretary to John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was the director of communications to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and also as the regional press secretary for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. The speculations that she would be replacing Jay Carney White House Press secretary once he left for White House in the year 21 were fueled by her hiring at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement of Carney on May 30, 2014. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications, and she was there until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
